TVO International is the overseas division of the TVO Groupe, a Chicago-headquartered international holding company with investments focused in real estate property assets and real estate-related service companies that provide a wide array of services through various operating affiliates. TVO International’s primary mission is to acquire and develop strategic real estate investment and service company opportunities by selectively venturing into new regions, developing new projects, and forging new relationships with institutions, investment funds, local developers and owner/operators.

TVO’s investment platform provides full-service institutional-quality asset management supported by “on-the-ground and in the trenches” operating expertise with development, property, project, construction and facility management services experience in regions located outside of North America. TVO has been able to achieve that level of performance by building and maintaining long-term relationships with a select group of partners and third-party clients.

Executive Bios

Wayne A. Vandenburg, Chairman & Co-CEO - TVO Groupe and Chairman & CEO – TVO International

Mr. Vandenburg began his career in the real estate industry in 1978. He has made his mark in the industry as a principal, manager, investor and developer. As Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of TVO Groupe where he is an original founding partner, his primary responsibilities include planning, negotiating and structuring alliances with institutional partners as well as forging relationships in new ventures and business opportunities both domestically and internationally. He completed his undergraduate education and graduate studies at the University of New Mexico (“UNM”) and later served on the faculty of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Before launching his real estate career, he was active in intercollegiate athletics both as an athlete and later as an Assistant Track & Field Coach at the University of New Mexico before becoming the Head Track & Field and Cross Country Coach at the University of Texas at El Paso (“UTEP”). Following his career in intercollegiate athletics, he held a number of administrative and consultancy positions in professional football, baseball, track & field, and volleyball. Mr. Vandenburg is a native of Chicago and an active member of numerous national and regional professional & civic organizations including the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council (“NMHC”), the Urban Land Institute (“ULI”) and the Pension Real Estate Association (“PREA”) and is a former member of the Mortgage Bankers of America (“MBA”), the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”) and the Real Estate Roundtable. Additionally, Mr. Vandenburg previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coldwell Banker Europe through 2007.
